Women the victim of New Year's Eve hotel room sex assault: Toronto Police

Toronto Police are looking for five men who allegedly sexually assaulted two women in their hotel room on New Year's Day.

The women went to a function on New Year's where they met five men who allegedly accompanied them back to their hotel in the Yonge and Bloor Sts. Area.

The women claim they were both sexually assaulted by the group prior to them leaving the hotel.

Four of the suspects as described as brown with brown eyes and black hair and between 28 and 31 years of age.

The is no description for one of the suspects.

One was about 5'9" and was wearing black dress pant, a black blazer, a white dress shirt and skinny tie and pointy black dress shoes.

Another was unshaven, about 5'7" with his hair in a faux-hawk style wear a black blazer, black pants and a pink shirt.

Yet another suspect was slim with a faux-hawk style hairdo and wear a white shirt and black pants.

The Toronto police Sex Crimes Unit warns that, "the first line of defence against sexual assault occurs when a woman admits to herself that she is a potential victim regardless of age or socioeconomic status."
